Charleston International Airport - Fuel Farm Improvement Project RFQ

The Charleston County Aviation Authority is requesting SOQs from qualified contractors for the construction of two new, 300,000 gallon + fuel storage tanks and associated systems and site work at Charleston International Airport. This project includes the fuel tanks, containment dykes, deep pile foundations, shallow foundations, site work, storm drainage improvements, potable water system, mechanical and electrical systems. Subcontractors anticipated for the Work include, but may not be limited to:

1) Fuel Tanks and Associated Equipment/Piping
2) Site Work
3) Foundations (deep pile foundations and shallow foundations)
4) Cast-in Place Concrete
5) Paving
6) Mechanical
7) Electrical and Lighting

It is anticipated that the Contractor will complete the total project in 906 calendar days from the date of Notice to Proceed. For purposes of this submittal, it is anticipated that the Project costs will be approximately $7M to $10M.

Any questions and/or comments concerning this Request for Qualifications should be directed in writing and delivered via email no later than April 29, 2019 at 5:00p.m. to David Morrow ccaaprocurement@iflychs.com Responses to questions will be issued in the form of an Addendum and will be posted no later than five (5) business days prior to the scheduled, Request for Qualifications due date. All Addenda so issued shall become part of this RFQ and must be acknowledged in the submittal. The Charleston County Aviation Authority will not be responsible for any oral instructions with regard to this notice. Said notice can only be changed by a formal written Addendum.
